Results from Canton

I just realized that I never posted about my trip from Canton. First of all, sadly enough, I have no ladybug lamp. My sister and I went to every pavilion at First Monday (because we know we were in a pavilion when we found it) and found nothing. I was very disappointed. I went all day without buying anything, so at the end of the day we went to the indoor shopping area next door to where we were parked and I picked out a couple of things there. So I've posted pictures of what I bought. I got a bulletin board with ladybugs on it (that they put her name on for free...gotta love that!) and this cool light that they put a ladybug on. It may not be a lamp, but it's still pretty neat. And I had decided that I shouldn't buy anything that I am capable of making myself and I wouldn't be able to make either of these things. I'm a pretty crafty person, but I'm not an artist, which is why the bulletin board was a must have and I have no idea where to buy the glass cube, so I'm all about letting someone else make that for me! :)

Also, I went to Kohl's last week in hopes of finding myself some new shirts. I didn't end up with anything for myself, but they did have lots of clothes on sale for 90% off. So I actually got some things for Karys. I just tried to guess what size she might be in (because most of it is winter-y stuff) and since they were practically giving the stuff away, I won't feel bad if she doesn't end up fitting into it! I got this really sweet dress that was only like $3. The most expensive thing I got was a 3-piece set that was a fleece jacket, long-sleeved matching onesie and corduroy pants for only $6. :) Yay for sales!!

About Me

My photo
I've been a wife for over seven years, a mommy of one for 2 and a half years, and a mommy of two as of 12/28/10! :) I married Ryan on July 26, 2003. We always said we wanted to have kids sometime around our fifth anniversary. The closer that time came, the more we started thinking we still needed another year. However, God held us to our original plan because Karys Elizabeth was born July 30, 2008...4 days after our 5th anniversary. :) I quit my job teaching kindergarten to take on the much more rewarding "career" of stay-at-home mom. There are some days that are hard, but I love it just the same. God surprised us again in May 2010 when we found out we were having baby #2. I went through the entire pregnancy expecting him to go past his January 9, 2011 due date since his sister was overdue. However, Zane Elliott surprised us by making his debut on December 28, 2010, and we wouldn't have it any other way! Now that we have "one of each" we could be "done" with our family, but hopefully that won't be the case. :)
